Summary
- The Validation Technician is responsible for performing instrument calibration and electronic testing following assembly.
- This role supports customer equipment by conducting installation support preventive and corrective maintenance and performance verification of electronic systems used in monitoring applications.
- The position involves troubleshooting documentation and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical testing of components printed circuit boards assemblies and systems.
- Conduct instrument calibration after assembly is completed.
- Document test plans procedures and results for assigned tasks.
- Support installation preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.
- Work with Engineering and Assembly teams to ensure products meet functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify diagnose and repair electronic failures at the component level.
- Troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems.
- Maintain compliance with quality and testing standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 5 years of experience in electronics testing or related field.
- General knowledge of analog electronic components.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) best practices.
- Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.
- Ability to work under general supervision and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates company values: Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement.
Preferred Skills
- Associates degree in a technical discipline (Electrical Electronics or Computer-related field).
- Experience with instrument calibration and validation processes.
- Hands-on experience in electronic testing and maintenance environments.
