Job Summary

Job Title: Car Fabricator

Location : Mooresville NC

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Car Fabricator to design fabricate modify and install custom automotive components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with metal fabrication welding and vehicle customization working on performance restoration or custom-built vehicles while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and modify automotive parts including frames chassis panels exhaust systems roll cages and custom body components
Perform cutting bending shaping and assembling of metal using fabrication tools and machinery
Weld components using MIG TIG or ARC welding techniques
Read and interpret fabrication drawings blueprints and design specifications
Customize vehicles based on client or project requirements
Install fabricated parts and ensure proper fitment and functionality
Inspect finished work for quality accuracy and safety compliance
Maintain tools equipment and a clean work environment
Follow all safety procedures and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Car Fabricator Automotive Fabricator or Metal Fabricator
Strong skills in metal fabrication welding and automotive assembly
Experience working with steel aluminum and other automotive materials
Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of automotive fabrication experience
Certification in welding or fabrication is a plus
Experience with custom builds restorations motorsports or performance vehicles
Knowledge of suspension chassis setup and structural reinforcement

Work Environment

Workshop-based role with exposure to tools machinery heat and noise
Requires standing lifting and working in confined or awkward positions
