We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Training: 8 10 weeks OJT/classroom; 3 failed assessments may result in release

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Set up and operate machinery for machining welding tube bending sheet metal and extrusion work.

• Perform composite lay-up fabrication and assembly tasks.

• Assemble repair modify and install power plants drive trains wire harnesses and avionics components.

• Prepare test articles fixtures and data collection devices for various tests.

• Apply organic chemical conversions and coatings per specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints drawings schematics and work instructions.

• Use conventional hand power and pneumatic tools and perform precision measuring.

• Follow safety protocols including fall protection and confined space requirements.

• Successfully complete training and assessments to ensure competency.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 1 year of experience in a technical mechanical or manufacturing/fabrication role.

• Ability to lift 10 35 lbs and meet physical demands including bending kneeling twisting climbing crawling and standing for extended periods.

• Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office email and basic software applications.

• Ability to read and apply mathematical calculations drawings and specifications in English.

• Ability to work variable shifts as required.

• Conventional material layup and composite handling.

• CNC machine experience.

• Precision measuring and use of hand power and pneumatic tools.

• Experience interpreting technical drawings schematics and material specifications.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
