Summary:
-
Set up and operate machinery for machining welding tube bending sheet metal and extrusion work.
-
Perform composite lay-up fabrication and assembly tasks.
-
Assemble repair modify and install power plants drive trains wire harnesses and avionics components.
-
Prepare test articles fixtures and data collection devices for various tests.
-
Apply organic chemical conversions and coatings per specifications.
-
Read and interpret blueprints drawings schematics and work instructions.
-
Use conventional hand power and pneumatic tools and perform precision measuring.
-
Follow safety protocols including fall protection and confined space requirements.
-
Successfully complete training and assessments to ensure competency.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
1 year of experience in a technical mechanical or manufacturing/fabrication role.
-
Ability to lift 10 35 lbs and meet physical demands including bending kneeling twisting climbing crawling and standing for extended periods.

Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office email and basic software applications.
-
Ability to read and apply mathematical calculations drawings and specifications in English.

Ability to work variable shifts as required.

Conventional material layup and composite handling.
-
CNC machine experience.
-
Precision measuring and use of hand power and pneumatic tools.
-
Experience interpreting technical drawings schematics and material specifications.
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
