We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Summary:

Fabricate and assemble mechanical and structural components using standard hand tools power tools and precision instruments
Perform mechanical assembly heavy structure drill-out bonding fastener installation and wire harness installation
Build modify install troubleshoot and repair components and structural assemblies
Execute work orders based on engineering drawings models and procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and buyoffs for completed work inspections and non-conformances
Collaborate with engineers to suggest design improvements and process enhancements
Ensure compliance with safety procedures quality standards and configuration control
Support engineering teams during development testing and prototype builds

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Technical diploma associate degree or equivalent experience in:
- Aircraft maintenance
- Machine trades
- Manufacturing technologies
Experience working with:
- Composites
- Titanium
- Sheet metal
- Riveting and fastening
- Wiring and tubing
- Basic machining
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and engineering data
Experience using tools such as:
- Torque wrenches
- Countersinks
- Drills
- Deburring tools
- Calibrated precision equipment
Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and communication abilities
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

FAA A&P Certification
Additional technical certifications or specialty training
Experience supporting engineering development or prototype builds
