Scope of Project
This position will develop and/or maintain business requirements test plans and test cases and perform functional and regression testing on applications. This position will also support applications in a help desk type environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze system documentation and system artifacts to develop an understanding of the associated business process
Elicit business system requirements using one or more methods such as analyzing current processes interviewing users conducting group meetings and reviewing existing documentation
Document and analyze as-is and to-be business processes
Develop or maintain high-level and detailed system requirements including business requirements documents context diagrams process flow diagrams data dictionaries and use cases
Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases
Develop or maintain user acceptance testing plans and help desk support guides
Develop detailed functional and system tests from documented system requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage
Develop or contribute to regression tests and user acceptance tests
Execute functional system and regression tests and participate in UAT
Identify and document application defects and track to resolution with retesting
Identify deficiencies in system documentation during testing
Respond to and resolve incident tickets submitted by application users

48 months application support / help desk experience
24 months criminal justice systems experience (Gun Safety preferred)
