Job Summary
The Functional Test Analyst will support functional test preparation test case creation execution support evidence collection defect logging retesting and regression testing activities for IE and CSE systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing or QA
Minimum 2-3 years of experience supporting SNAP TANF Child Care and/or Child Support initiatives
Minimum 2-3 years of experience with state eligibility systems policies practices technologies and SOPs
Strong experience writing test cases and supporting UAT and regression execution
Experience with defect lifecycle and test evidence documentation
Experience using Jira/Zephyr or similar tools
Strong analytical documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Review approved requirements process flows user stories and design artifacts
Create detailed functional test cases scenarios and execution steps
Support UAT execution in collaboration with business users and client stakeholders
Execute assigned tests and document results and evidence
Log defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting details
Perform retesting of resolved defects
Participate in regression test execution including both manual and automation-assisted cycles
Maintain updates in Jira Zephyr and/or R4J
Support pilot statewide and post-go-live validation activities
