Job Overview:
- Seeking an Expert-level Systems Analyst to support the Legally Exempt Facility Application and Management System (LE FAMS) for a New York State agency. The role focuses on re-engineering paper-based
- processes into a web application and working closely with business and technical teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements and rules
- Re-engineer paper processes into solutions
- Create technical and business specifications
- Develop test plans test cases; perform unit and regression testing
- Facilitate stakeholder and user meetings
- Collaborate with developers and project management to meet delivery timelines
- Maintain project documentation and support knowledge transfer
Required Experience:
- 7 years as a Systems Analyst
- Strong experience applications
- Test planning execution and validation experience
- Business requirements gathering and stakeholder facilitation
- SQL query writing for data extraction and validation
- Education: Bachelors Degree required
