Job Summary

Position Title: Business Analyst - Project Lead

Work Location: Columbia SC Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Business Analyst - Project Lead who will report to the manager to provide status updates on assigned tasks. He should be able to work independently with minimum guidance to enhance the user interface to be interactive and self-guided primarily in financial areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points.
Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with business requirements.
Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities.
Design self-guiding workflows including guided navigation tooltips and contextual assistance for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments.
Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards contextual help and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs.
Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of business processes.
Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios test cases and provide general assistance during testing activities.
Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues enhancements and bug triage to review progress discuss solutions and align on priorities.

Required Qualifications:

5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
5 years of experience working with Child Support systems
5 years of experience working with financial operations such as receipts distribution disbursements recoupment and/or reconciliation
5 years of experience with workflow design and system enhancement
5 years of experience conducting Stakeholder Interviews
5 years with SQL Querying
Bachelors degree

Education:
BS Degree Preference given to Finance or IT degree

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager
Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodology
Preference for a degree in Finance or IT.
