Job Summary

Job Role - Senior Application Developer
Job Location - Oakland CA or Rancho CA or Alpharetta GA(Hybrid)

At a high level they are looking for a Senior Application Developer with strong experience on the FIS Macess platform with VBScript background who can act as a technical SME and provide Level-3 support. The role will focus on workflow and document management integrations with enterprise systems database optimization upgrades and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

System Development: Lead the architecture configuration and customization of FIS MACESS workflow modules and document management solutions.
Integration: Design and implement robust integrations (APIs Web Services Middleware) between MACESS and core enterprise systems (e.g. CRM or Claims Processing systems).
Automation: Develop and refine complex workflow rules triggers and automated document indexing protocols to improve operational efficiency. Use Artificial Intelligent to improve current processes.
Database Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and triggers specifically for MACESS data structures and reporting.
Upgrades & Migration: Lead technical assessments for FIS MACESS version upgrades patches and data migration projects.
Troubleshooting: Act as Level 3 support for critical system issues performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.

Technical Qualifications

MACESS Expertise: Experience with FIS MACESS System is designable (Design Workflow Imaging and System Administration).
Programming: Proficiency in VBScript C# / .NET or Java with experience building custom extensions or utilities for MACESS.
Database: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server; ability to manage large-scale data sets and complex schemas.
Web Services: Experience with SOAP/RESTful APIs and XML/JSON data structures.
Scripting: Strong PowerShell VBScript or Python scripting skills for task automation.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
7 years of total software development experience.
Experience in the Healthcare or Insurance industry is highly preferred.
