Project Overview

Client is seeking a senior-level Developer with strong expertise in OpenText Documentum and enterprise content management systems. This role focuses on designing developing and supporting Documentum-based applications along with building APIs and working within a modern cloud-based environment on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and troubleshoot Documentum applications across components such as Content Server D2 Config D2 Classic D2 Smart View Brava CTS xPlore and DFC Client
• Manage platform upgrades and migrations within Documentum environments
• Develop and implement REST APIs using the Spring Framework
• Write and maintain code using Java and Python
• Work with tools such as Git Jenkins Jira IntelliJ and Tomcat/J2EE
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
• Support deployment processes system monitoring and vulnerability management
• Troubleshoot AWS environments including reviewing configurations logs and security policies
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog refinement stand-ups and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience with OpenText Documentum including design development and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of Documentum architecture object model and security
• Experience with Documentum platform upgrades and migrations
• 2 years of experience building REST APIs using the Spring Framework
• 5 years of programming experience with Java and Python
• 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS services
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and architecture

Technical Skills:

• OpenText Documentum (Content Server D2 suite Brava CTS xPlore DFC)
• REST API development using Spring Framework
• Java and Python programming
• AWS services: EC2 ECS RDS ALB SSM SQS SNS Lambda AWS SDK
• Tools: Git Jenkins Jira IntelliJ Tomcat/J2EE
• Relational databases
• Unit testing code coverage deployment processes and system monitoring
