The Payroll Officer is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for employees while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation company policies and industrial instruments.

Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end monthly and fortnightly payrolls
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records
- Process new starters terminations and employment changes
- Calculate wages allowances overtime penalties and deductions
- Process leave entitlements (annual personal long service leave)
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional manner
- Support payroll audits and reporting requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a payroll position
- Basic understanding of Australian payroll legislation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
