AECOM is looking for a Bridge Design Engineer II to enhance the capabilities of AECOMs regional bridge team being based in AECOMs Denver CO. office.
Job Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. This position is an opportunity to work within a well-established group offering diverse projects technical challenges and career development opportunities.
- Need to be able to perform work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prepare contract drawings technical specifications design calculations technical reports and construction cost estimates.
- Perform existing bridge inspection and condition assessment and develop rehabilitation strategies.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil (Structural) engineering.
- 2 years of bridge design experience.
- Masters degree a plus
- Experience with related project work with Colorado DOT / City of Denver etc.
- Knowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge MIDAS SAP2000 etc.
- Railroad bridge design experience is a plus.
