Job Summary

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design & Test Engineer to support the design analysis troubleshooting and integration of complex electrical and mixed signal systems. The role involves hands on hardware development test equipment usage cross disciplinary collaboration and support for engineering team leadership.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 2 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience
Experience with electrical engineering design including troubleshooting analysis and testing
Hands on proficiency with electrical design tools such as:
- Altium Designer
- DxDesigner
- Mentor Capital
- Creo Schematic
Experience using test equipment such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
- Network Analyzers
- Power Meters
Experience performing schematic capture and interpreting electrical schematics

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in STEM (ABET accreditation preferred but not required)
Experience providing technical leadership within multidisciplinary engineering teams
Experience in analog digital and/or RF design
Experience designing testing and integrating digital mixed signal or electrical interconnect systems
Familiarity with IDEs and debugging tools for software troubleshooting
Ability to self manage workload and meet deadlines independently
Strong teamwork and collaboration experience
Strong technical writing and formal presentation skills
Ability to lead single or multi discipline engineering teams
Project management experience
Experience supporting bids and proposals (BOEs SOWs etc.)
Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques
Experience developing or utilizing programming languages for hardware testing or automation
Ability to adapt existing designs to support new Units Under Test (UUTs)
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
