Quality Technician II Job Summary
Location: Durham NC 27712 Onsite Contract
Role Impact & Expectations:
The Quality Technician II plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and safety of laboratory operations by conducting moderately complex quality control testing environmental monitoring and maintaining stringent documentation standards. This position directly supports manufacturing and sterilization functions contributing to regulatory compliance and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine assessments of water air and surface quality to mitigate contamination risks.

- Execute various biological and chemistry tests including TOC Gram staining and endotoxin testing.
- Complete investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Manage sample distribution and documentation tracking.
- Oversee inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Accurately enter and maintain laboratory records in data management systems.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness including autoclaving and glassware washing.
- Perform assay validations and equipment qualifications as needed.
- Implement and revise standard operating procedures.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Coordinate laboratory testing assignments and workflow.
- Collaborate with supervisors on technical problem-solving.
- Train new personnel following established procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
