Job Summary
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - ROBOTIC PALLETIZER SYSTEMS
Position Type: Long-term contract with possibility of permanent conversion
Travel: 90% (domestic and international)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate per diem
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with experience in robotic palletizer systems to provide installation maintenance troubleshooting and training at customer locations throughout the United States and internationally. This role requires 90% travel with extended commissioning assignments and occasional travel to Central/South America and Europe.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years robotic applications experience
- FANUC robotics experience (specifically robotic palletizing systems)
- Programming and PLC integration
Technical Skills:
- FANUC robotics programming and troubleshooting
- Allen Bradley: Studio 5000 and Panel View
- PLC knowledge
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical knowledge
- Industrial equipment experience
- Ability to read/interpret electrical documentation and plant drawings
Requirements:
- Valid passport (international travel required)
- Valid drivers license with clear record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Technical degree OR equivalent experience/apprenticeship
- Proficient English communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Siemens Tia Portal experience
- SAP experience
- TWIC Card and OSHA 10
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install repair and maintain robotic palletizer equipment at customer facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Conduct customer training and on-site technical support
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel 90% with extended commissioning assignments
