Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer (811 years) to join our team and lead the development of secure scalable and resilient cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in microservices architecture cloud technologies and distributed systems along with strong leadership abilities to drive engineering excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. Expertise in microservices design principles and advanced patterns such as Saga Event Sourcing Circuit Breaker API Gateway and Database Per Service etc.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deep technical and debugging expertise to resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed systems.
3. A leadership mindset capable of driving best practices mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
4. A passion for continuous learning and technology adoption ensuring solutions remain cutting-edge and industry best practices are followed.
5. A commitment to high-quality maintainable and efficient code adhering to industry standards SOLID principles and test-driven development (TDD).

The role requires close collaboration with architects product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to design and deliver high-performance secure and scalable enterprise solutions. The individual will also contribute to technical strategy process improvements and architectural decision-making to enhance system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibility:

1. Design develop and maintain cloud-native microservices-based architectures.
2. Write clean maintainable and efficient code adhering to SOLID Clean Code principles and best practices.
3. Implement high-standard code using JUnit and ensure adequate unit and integration test coverage.
4. Leverage design patterns specific to microservice architecture to build fault-tolerant scalable and distributed systems.
5. Utilize Spring Boot Spring Cloud and other associated Spring modules to develop robust backend services.
6. Manage and deploy applications using Docker Kubernetes and Helm in cloud environments such as AWS.
7. Develop and integrate event-driven systems using Kafka.
8. Collaborate with teams to build secure scalable SaaS products.
9. Follow DevSecOps best practices ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment strategies.
10. Work closely with architects and product teams to align development efforts with business goals and enterprise-level non-functional requirements.
11. Mentor junior developers conduct code reviews and enforce software engineering best practices.
12. Lead debugging and incident resolution efforts for distributed system and production failures.
13. Drive root cause analysis and incident resolution efforts for complex production failures and distributed system issues.
14. Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies ensuring the system remains modern efficient and scalable.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in Java and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
2. Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Web Flux.
3. Exposure to Docker Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts.
4. Knowledge of Kafka Helm AWS Cloud and distributed systems.
5. Experience or coursework in Angular TypeScript or similar front-end frameworks.
6. Understanding of microservices architecture and SaaS application development.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications 

1. Bachelors or Higher Degree in Engineering from a reputed engineering college.
2. 811 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development with a strong background in cloud-native microservices architecture.
3. Proven experience in designing developing and deploying scalable distributed systems in production.
4. Strong programming skills usingJava 11 Spring Boot Spring Cloud and associated microservices patterns.
5. Experience with Angular TypeScript or similar front-end frameworks. 
6. Hands-on experience in microservices design patterns: Saga Event Sourcing Circuit Breaker API Gateway CQRS and Database-per-Service etc
7. Strong experience with messaging systems (Kafka RabbitMQ) and NoSQL/SQL databases (MongoDB PostgreSQL Redis).
8. Solid understanding of DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines Docker Kubernetes Helm and cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).
9. Hands-on experience with performance tuning caching strategies security best practices and API management.
10. Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills with a track record of mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
