Senior Monitoring Services Technician

Our Carson CA laboratory is looking for a Senior Monitoring Services Technician to join their Pump/Rental team!  The Monitoring Services Technicians primary responsibilities are to receive and route packages to appropriate department ensure samples equipment paperwork etc. are placed into proper workflow sign in returned equipment assemble maintain and calibrate equipment to fill client orders.

Job functions:

• Routes incoming packages to appropriate department.
• Opens packages and signs in returned equipment.
• Performs cosmetic equipment maintenance.
• Prepares accessories (tubing client facing documentation media bags etc).
• Performs inventory counts ensuring proper levels at all times.
• Perform light equipment maintenance.
• Assembles inspects tests and/or calibrates all items needed to fill client orders per LIMS order summary.
• Calibrates equipment and/or checks equipment calibrations.
• Performs Quality Control checks of routine client orders.
• Works with internal departments to fill client orders.
• Ships client orders using vendor software platforms (UPS FedEX and DHL).
• Adheres to SOPs ensuring proper procedures are followed consistently.
• Maintains all required documentation with accuracy and clarity.
• Provides exceptional customer service both internal and external clients.
• Assists with error tracking continuous improvement process preventative and corrective action processes.
• Investigates client reported equipment malfunctions and other feedback providing root cause to supervisor and team lead as applicable.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Diploma and 1-2 years of general work experience (Preferred)
• Proficient English language skills (Required)
• Strong attention to detail (Required)
• Basic reasoning and mathematical skills (Required)
• Basic computer skills (Required)
• Ability to lift/carry/push or pull upwards of 30 lbs constantly (Required)

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00-$25.00.  This position is eligible for overtime pay.
