Interview Process: Microsoft Teams or onsite Overview: We are seeking a Process Technician to support semiconductor process engineering and metrology operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role involves performing technical tests operating specialized process equipment and assisting engineering teams in troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong technical aptitude hands-on troubleshooting experience and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities: Perform technical tests and experiments to support process engineering initiatives
Set up and operate process equipment and laboratory tools used in semiconductor manufacturing
Operate metrology equipment including particle counters film thickness measurement systems and related tools to qualify process equipment and optimize processes
Record and document test results preparing charts graphs and reports as required
Adjust hardware and software parameters to troubleshoot issues or conduct experiments
Work closely with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve process or integration problems
Perform minor electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment
Conduct preventive and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment
Maintain a strong focus on quality safety and lab output performance
Required Qualifications: Associate degree (AA) or equivalent experience
3 4 years of semiconductor processing experience preferably in thin film deposition or etch processes
Experience working in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum-based processing equipment
Strong technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills: Experience with semiconductor metrology tools and process equipment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with a proactive ownership-oriented mindset
Work Environment: This role operates in a semiconductor cleanroom manufacturing environment and may involve:
Working in confined areas or elevated locations
Wearing cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Standing or walking for extended periods (up to 10000 steps per shift)
Lifting or carrying objects up to 35 pounds
Bending stooping crawling or climbing as required
Employees must follow strict safety and environmental procedures when working around chemicals electrical systems high voltage equipment and moving mechanical components.
Additional Information: Compressed work schedule (3 4 days per week)
Occasional overnight travel to training facilities or manufacturing sites may be required
