Job Summary
Job Title:Mobile Commercial Maintenance Technician
Compensation: $25-28 per hour
Location: Lakewood CO 80226
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Maintenance Technician to support a portfolio of commercial properties in the Milpitas area. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship enjoys problem-solving and values building strong customer relationships.
You will be provided with a company vehicle and tools to travel locally between properties. Your focus will be delivering preventative corrective and predictive maintenance services while maintaining safe efficient and professional environments for our clients.
What Youll Do
As a Commercial Maintenance Technician you will:
Maintenance & Repairs
Complete preventative maintenance and repair work orders efficiently and safely.
Perform minor plumbing repairs including:
Unclogging toilets and urinals
Repairing and replacing valves faucets and fixtures
Maintaining automatic flush systems and sensors
Perform minor electrical work within state guidelines including:
Replacing fixtures switches outlets
Changing bulbs ballasts and sockets
Conduct general carpentry and painting work:
Drywall repairs and patching
Surface prep and paint matching
Beautification and upkeep of walls floors and doors
Support maintenance of building mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and electrical systems.
Inspections & Documentation
Complete service and asset inspections as required.
Use company-issued tablet or smartphone to:
Access and close work orders
Document services performed
Submit service reports and quality inspection photos
Submit timesheets expenses and purchase logs
Customer Service & Communication
Build positive professional relationships with clients through face-to-face interaction.
Maintain consistent communication with customers and internal teams.
Provide estimates for larger service projects when needed.
Safety & Compliance
Comply with all applicable codes regulations and company policies.
Complete required safety training and attend weekly safety meetings.
Maintain working knowledge of OSHA standards.
Perform emergency and preventative maintenance as assigned.
What Were Looking For
Experience
25 years of general maintenance experience.
Background in commercial property maintenance preferred.
Hands-on experience with plumbing electrical carpentry and HVAC systems.
Experience in one or more building trades strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade certification degree or specialized training in Electrical HVAC Plumbing Landscaping or related field preferred.
Technical Skills
Ability to manage and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Proficiency with handheld devices and software systems including:
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Word and Excel
Work order or document management systems
Additional Requirements
Valid drivers license in good standing.
Applicable licenses or certifications as required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety policies operating manuals and maintenance procedures.
Ability to travel locally between properties daily.
