Job Title: Site Agent

Salary: R24000 - R28000 CTC

Purpose of the Role
The Site Agent is responsible for overseeing the execution of on-site project activities. This includes ensuring quality productivity and compliance with safety standards. The role is fully site-based on a single project and involves managing subcontractors liaising with the client and maintaining daily operational control.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily on-site presence to supervise activities and ensure alignment with project plans

Attend planning meetings and liaise with the project manager and subcontractor supervisors

Allocate tasks check resource availability and oversee tools and material usage
-
Ensure all work adheres to the programme with recovery plans for any delays
-
Maintain consistent communication with the main contractor and Cross Fire Management
-
Report on site issues incidents and drawing changes within 24 hours
-
Issue and manage site instructions in line with the project managers approvals
-
Complete and submit daily diaries tracking labour productivity and deviations
-
Manage and organise all project-related documentation and drawing registers
-
Enforce on-site safety compliance and participate in safety audits and incident investigations

Control site cleanliness material storage and establish area-based material allocations

Conduct weekly snag list reviews and manage pressure test sign-off

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a site management or supervisory role within construction or fire protection
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and site management protocols
- Experience managing subcontractor performance and coordinating directly with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in daily reporting documentation and interpretation of construction drawings
- Own reliable transport and a valid drivers license
Additional Notes
The Site Agent is expected to be available for weekend or overtime work when required. A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently on-site is essential. This is a hands-on high-accountability role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced on-site environments.
