Job Summary

Livingston County Catholic Charities seeks to hire a part-time Program Assistant for our Be Our Guest Adult Day Program. This person will join a team to assist with daily operations of the Be Our Guest program. The program provides a safe caring and stimulating environment to dementia specific older adults and physically cognitively or emotionally disabled participants. Program Assistants facilitate daily cognitive and physical activities to help the participants maintain their abilities. High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one-year experience in an older adult human service or community outreach setting. Must have an understanding of the needs of the elderly (familial social health) and an awareness of special concerns/problems that may arise as a part of the aging process. Pay rate of $14 per hour.
