About the role.

The Senior Financial Analyst Planning and Trade supports key functions within Commercial Finance by delivering well-structured analysis of volume trends trade activities and financial performance. This role provides the commercial team with timely and accurate data and insights assists in accrual management and helps standardize reporting procedures to enable precise financial planning and process alignment. With strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement this individual will help optimize commercial trade investments and contribute to organizational profitability and risk mitigation.

What youll be doing.

  • Partner with the commercial team to deliver actionable financial analysis guidance and modeling that supports volume growth and margin management.
  • Gather data and interpret market trends customer behavior and competitive activity to support informed commercial decisions.
  • Analyze sales volume driverssuch as promotional effectiveness channel performance and seasonal patternsto help refine strategic execution.
  • Support initiatives to standardize and improve commercial finance processes including forecasting reporting budgeting and accrual management.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual internal reporting; participate in key reporting cycles such as QBR (Quarterly Business Review) QFR (Quarterly Financial Review) and month-end and mid-month meetings.
  • Track and support SG&A spend management helping monitor budgets analyze spending trends and ensure cost centers are managed in line with approved financial plans.
  • Contribute to the trade accruals processincluding the estimation and recording of allowances for trade promotions discounts and rebatesin close collaboration with the sales and deductions teams.
  • Participate in monthly trade accrual account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records; identify discrepancies and collaborate with accounting to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Help develop and maintain risk control frameworks to identify track and report on potential volume and trade risks and escalate issues as appropriate to senior leaders.

What youll need to be successful.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
  • 13 years of relevant finance or commercial analysis experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with SAP or similar ERP advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Professional certification (CPA MBA) is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and attention to detail.

Compensation Package:$81600.00 - $108900.00 . USD annually Bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
