IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Set up operate and maintain centerless grinding equipment to manufacture precision parts ensuring machines run efficiently and reliably.
Conduct routine maintenance (check fluid levels dress regulating wheels) troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues and monitor grinder performance to prevent defects.
Measure inspect and test finished components with precision instruments maintain accurate job records and data entry and support training efforts under supervisory guidance.

HOW TO BECOME OUR CENTERLESS GRINDER OPERATOR - MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST:

High school diploma trade school experience OR equivalency
2 years of grinding experience OR 3 years of experience working in manufacturing production or in a technical position
Experience reading blueprints
Ability to set up and operate centerless grinding machines OR the ability to learn to do so quickly
Proficiency in basic shop math
Proficiency with inspection equipment such as a micrometer profilometer and roundness gauge
Ability to stand throughout a shift in a machine shop environment
