Job Summary
Job Title: Machine Operator (Production / Manufacturing)
Work Location: Odessa TX 79765
Contract Duration: 3 months (Short-term temporary role with possible temp-to-hire if the candidate performs well)
Work Schedule: Day Shift Monday Friday Occasional weekend work may be required.
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour (W2)
Job Overview
The Machine Operator supports production operations in a manufacturing environment. The role involves operating machines handling materials and assisting warehouse operations while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a brush machine for production (training will be provided).
- Lift and move plastic bags up to 50 lbs and load them into a hopper.
- Assist the warehouse team with loading and unloading trucks when required.
- Follow operational procedures to run equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain shop equipment and report any issues or deviations.
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks before shifts.
- Support continuous improvement and productivity goals.
Requirements
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an environment with productivity metrics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must wear steel-toe shoes.
- Other PPE will be provided by the company.
