As a Neurologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough neurological assessments and examinations
- Diagnose and treat neurological disorders and diseases
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Provide patient education and counseling on neurological health
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology
- Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Active medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey
- Experience in a clinical setting preferably in neurology
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
Schedule: 7a-7p
Patient Volume: 15-20 per day
Will handle new consults
Lumbar puncture skills are a plus
Support Staff: PA
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
