$108542 - $128724 salary package - includes base salary ($95630 - $113411 per annum) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)

At TAFE NSW our fabrication and welding apprenticeship program gives the handson skills industry knowledge and realworld experience to thrive in one of the countrys most indemand fields. Our fabrication and welding apprenticeship program equips students with the practical skills and technical knowledge to work across a wide range of fabrication settings. From welding fundamentals to complex fabrication tasks youll guide apprentices through handson learning that prepares them for realworld industry demands.

About You

To be successful in the role you will:

  1. Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Metal Fabrication (Trades).
  2. Havea minimum of five years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications gained no longer than five years previously.
  3. Hold evidence of the required teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document (here) for details.
  4. Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
