Job Summary
Our client in the Perimeter area is seeking a Project Procurement Leader to join their team. This is direct hire opportunity and hybrid.
- Manage all direct material procurement for new business initiatives and customer service projects throughout the Americas.
- Establish and develop the project supply base in partnership with Category Leaders Global Purchasing regional project teams and Product Centers.
- Lead supplier interactions from RFQ issuance through final pricing negotiations and contract award.
- Enforce standard purchasing terms and conditions while ensuring supplier adherence to contractual requirements.
- Prepare evaluate and negotiate contracts scopes of work and commercial agreements.
- Assess supplier performance after project completion including evaluations reviews and audits.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives for third-party materials while maintaining quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Bachelor degree with good technical knowledge.
- 2-3 years of experience in operational and strategic procurement sourcing supplier management and procurement processes within industrial automation manufacturing or comparable industries.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and adjust to changing demands and situations.
- Good and proven knowledge of MS365 Office Suite SAP R3 MM (Material Management) with focus on procurement transactions
- Working experience in an international company with multiple sites
- Work experience in project business comparable to projects
