We have an exciting opportunity for aContainer Terminal Manager to lead operations at our Christchurch Container Terminal.

- Manage terminal-based staff planning and daytoday container terminal functions
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full operational compliance
- Drive OnTime Performance and consistently deliver for our customers
- Lead coach and develop terminal staff supporting their performance and training
- Influence positive outcomes solve operational challenges and keep the terminal running smoothly
- Bring clear decisionmaking strong relationshipbuilding skills and an understanding of what it takes to meet service commitments in a fastpaced freight environment
- Work Monday-Friday day shift with an on-call component supporting 24/7 operations

- Strong leadership skills and ability to build high performing teams
- Sound experience in a unionised environment is preferred
- Exceptional problem solving and organising abilities to achieve high-endproductivity results
- Proficient computer skills with experience using a range of customised software packages
- Proven ability todrive Health safety and wellbeing and the ability to grow and shape our safety leaders
- A strong customer focus with stakeholder relationship building skills
- Experience in freight or transport
- A full clean drivers Licence with Class 2 and F endorsement is preferred
