Pay Rate: $35$50/hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Long-Term Substitute Special Education (Autism Program)for an exciting job in Aldie VA.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Delivery: Implement modified high school curriculum aligned to individual student needs and IEP goals
Life Skills & Transition Support: Facilitate development of functional life skills and preparation for post-secondary pathways
Classroom Leadership: Supervise and collaborate with instructional assistants to maintain a safe organized and productive learning environment
IEP & Data Management: Track academic and behavioral progress collect data and participate in team meetings as required
Classroom Culture: Promote an inclusive respectful and age-appropriate learning environment for students on the autism spectrum

Qualifications & Requirements

Education/Licensure: Valid Virginia Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement preferred or eligibility for a long-term substitute permit
Experience: Prior experience working with secondary-level students with Autism strongly preferred
Skills: Strong behavior management skills experience with data collection and ability to adapt high school-level content for diverse learners
Commitment: Ability to fulfill the full 22-week assignment to provide consistency and stability for students
