Position Summary
The Priority Responder / Monitoring Technician will be responsible for conducting field inspections and assessments of mitigation projects ensuring compliance with applicable regulations providing recommendations and solutions. This role is responsible for meeting clients in the middle of disasters resulting from fire water mold or environmental factors. This Priority Responder / Monitoring Technician will leverage DryBook and DASH for all project management compliance and documentation tracking. Furthermore they are responsible for project accuracy and communication with Project Managers and Business Development Representatives ensuring that the job is sold in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Response & Customer Care
Respond promptly to water fire mold and environmental losses.
Ensures the property is secured and safe upon arrival.
Facilitates a positive customer experience through reassurance explaining next steps and setting expectations during high stress situations.
Acts as the initial contact for homeowners and / or property managers.
Assessment & Documentation
Perform a thorough inspection to identify source of loss category and class of loss.
Assess affected materials structural components and contents.
Identifies potential health and safety risks (electrical hazards contamination mold risk etc.)
Determines scope of job to be performed if mitigation can be completed immediately
Maintain detailed job notes photos and moisture readings in DryBook and DASH ensuring consistency with Xactimate.
Scope of Work Development
Develop a clear accurate scope of work for mitigation and restoration.
Determine required equipment (air movers dehumidifiers etc.).
Define demolition needs drying strategies and monitoring requirements.
Ensure damage sources and migration lines are clearly defined.
Documentation & Reporting
Accurately create a job in DASH and / or DryBook (in the event of a water loss).
Capture detailed photos moisture readings and job notes.
Provide detailed summaries for internal teams insurers or adjusters as required.
Qualifications
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comprehensive understanding of water fire and mold restoration processes.
Proficiency in DASH Xactimate DryBook and MS Office.
Excellent communication organization and client service skills.
Strong attention to detail documentation and compliance accuracy.
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
IICRC Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
Nice to have:
Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
Able to work independently and collaboratively. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
