Job Description:

Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm Perceptron & FARO portable CMM equipment.
Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems i.e. PolyWorks Catia and 3D imaging software.
Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
Support Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events.
Troubleshoot equipment tooling parts and part fitting.
Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leader(s).

Requirements:

2-5 Years Automotive/ Aerospace Quality Metrology experience (Sheet-metal QA)
Capable of using portable CMM equipment Scanners Laser Trackers. (FARO Vectorarm Leica Creaform).
Experience with 3D comparison softwares like PolyWorks Cam 2 Scene PC DMIS.
Strong mechanical ability. Small hand tools for adjusting / modifying part datums.
Strong Computer skills including: MS PowerPoint Excel and Word.
Able to create and maintain schedules.
Ability to work weekends holidays off shifts and overtime.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to handle medium to heavy physical work.
Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes that may occur daily.
Be a self-starter and self-motivated to continuously improve skills and new tech.
