Your new role

As a P&O Manager you will:

  • Develop and implement KFA P&O strategy: Create and execute an enterprise-wide P&O strategy that optimizes human resources to support business objectives aligned with the strategies for our corporate Finished Products Manufacturing International (FPMI) and Novo Nordisk Japan (NNPL) People & Organization department.
  • Participate in KFA management and execute organizational strategy: Act as a KFA management member partnering with the KFA VP to design align and drive organizational structure change and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee on-site HR operations: Own the execution of core HR processes and systemsrecruitment onboarding performance management compensation succession training and personnel administrationensuring compliance with laws Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and corporate requirements in collaboration with NNPL P&O.
  • Develop talent and strengthen leadership capability: Equip managers with people-management skills tools and training; provide coaching and mentoring; and manage complex high-impact HR cases.
  • Drive culture and employer value proposition: Design and lead programs that foster an inclusive innovative work environment promote Novo Nordisk Way values increase engagement and strengthen employer attraction and retention.
  • Lead annual organizational reviews and budget management: Conduct yearly organizational reviews to optimize workforce planning and own HR department budgeting monitoring costs and performance.
  • Ensure compliance and stakeholder collaboration: Operate in full compliance with Japanese labor law business ethics quality systems and internal policies; collaborate closely with Product Supply Finished Products Manufacturing International (FPMI) and NNPL teams and execute additional tasks assigned by leadership.

Located in Koriyama Japan the department is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture. Your skills & qualifications

Were looking for a new P&O/HR Manager who will value working in a high-paced dynamic environment. Youll bring with you:

  • University degree or higher.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience including at least 3 years in leadership roles with exposure to factory HR preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of organizational development change management succession and talent management and leadership development.
  • Familiarity with Japanese labor law and experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries preferred.
