Marketing Software Development Manager

As a Marketing Software Development Manager you will lead a small pod of developers responsible for building and maintaining marketing-focused software and digital commerce solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management active development work and delivery ownership.

You will work closely with Marketing Design and Product partners to prioritize initiatives and deliver high-quality solutions using a Kanban-based addition to managing the team you are expected to contribute code mentor developers and uphold strong engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead coach and support a team of software developers providing regular feedback and mentorship
• Actively contribute to development work including coding reviewing pull requests and improving existing systems
• Help prioritize plan and manage work using a Kanban process
• Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with campaign and growth needs
• Guide implementation of headless architectures including CMS and Shopify integrations
• Ensure high standards for code quality testing maintainability and performance
• Support hiring onboarding and technical growth of team members

Qualifications :

Were looking for a collaborative technically strong leader with experience building marketing and commerce-focused software.

• 2 years of experience in a people leadership or technical lead role
• 5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with React JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building or supporting headless architectures and API-driven systems
• Working knowledge of Shopify and eCommerce platforms (Liquid a plus)
• Solid understanding of software design principles OOP and clean coding practices
• Experience with APIs and GraphQL
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience using Git and modern development workflows
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage flow in a Kanban-style process
• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
