MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To lead and direct the Operating Theatre Unit optimisation through process analysis and re-engineering. Facilitating process enhancement and change in terms of business strategies ensuring maximum revenue efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Manage the operational efficiencies of the Operating Theatre Unit
- Manage and mitigate operational risks within the Operating Theatre Unit for all theatre users
- Ensure alignment of Operating Theatre operations with the strategic objectives of the hospital
- Ensure compliance with regulatory-; external as well as internal auditing bodies
- Manage key stakeholder relations
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Degree or Diploma
DESIRED EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Industrial Engineering Healthcare Management or related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 4 to 8 years related experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in operational or business management preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
