ROLE TITLE: QUALITY CONTROL LAB CO-OP STUDENT
DEPARTMENT: QUALITY CONTROL
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR QUALITY CONTROL
HOURS: DAY SHIFT 08:00 to 16:30 (MAY to AUGUST)

This rolewillbe responsible forgeneratingaccurateresults while following cGMP support in analyzing offinished products/raw materials/stability samples using various chemical and instrumental techniquesin accordance withestablished compendia and in-house testing methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepared mobile phase buffer and solutions for dissolutionchromatographyand chemistry lab

  • Participate in routine sample analysis for raw material finished products in-process stability cleaning validation purified water environmental sampling using established analytical procedures and wet chemistry techniques.

  • Calibrateoperate andmaintainanalytical balances KarlFischerand pH meters.

  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.

  • Participate and work onadditionalprojects as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Participate in occupational health safety and wellness.

Education and Experience:

  • Current studentatcollegediploma orBachelorsdegree in Life Science or related studies.

  • Understanding of Canadian and US cGMP requirements.

  • Strong computer skills

  • Good theoretical understanding of laboratory instruments.

Required competencies/Abilities:

  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills arerequired.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
