Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Analyst Technology Controls
Role Purpose:
The Senior Analyst Technology Controls is responsible for overseeing technology control frameworks ensuring that IT systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role focuses on designing implementing and testing IT controls to mitigate risks and support organizational governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain IT control frameworks in line with regulatory and organizational requirements
- Conduct testing of technology controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Identify gaps in existing controls and recommend enhancements or remediation actions
- Collaborate with IT risk and audit teams to ensure proper control coverage across systems and processes
- Monitor and report on control performance providing insights and recommendations to management
- Support audits and regulatory reviews related to IT controls
- Maintain documentation of control design testing results and remediation efforts
- Stay updated on emerging technology risks and regulatory changes impacting IT controls
Required Experience & Skills:
- 7 years of experience in IT controls IT risk or technology audit roles
- Strong understanding of IT control frameworks including general IT controls (GITC) and application controls
- Experience in control design testing and remediation
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g. SOX ISO COBIT)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience in banking finance or highly regulated industries
- Professional certifications such as CISA CRISC or ITIL
- Hands-on experience with control management or audit tools
