About the Role:
The Controller is a hands-on finance leader responsible for owning and executing all accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This role requires active involvement in day-to-day accounting while overseeing financial reporting internal controls budgeting and compliance in a production-focused operation.
Responsibilities:

Own and manage the full accounting and finance function for a manufacturing operation.

Lead month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.

Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and cash management activities.
-
Develop implement and maintain accounting policies procedures and internal controls.
-
Prepare financial statements management reports and variance analyses.
-
Partner closely with operations to support cost control margin analysis and production-related financial decisions.
-
Manage audits tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements.
-
Drive continuous improvement across accounting systems reporting and financial processes.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
-
Five or more years of progressive accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end accounting and financial operations.
-
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and internal controls.
-
Experience with manufacturing ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Proven ability to operate hands-on while providing financial leadership.
Desired Qualifications:

CPA or CMA certification.
-
Strong background in cost accounting inventory valuation and production variance analysis.

Experience supporting plant operations or production leadership.
-
Exposure to continuous improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
