What Drives Success

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance of Lennox Residential HVAC (LRH) the Director Controller is responsible for financial planning budgeting forecasting and strategic financial decision-making supporting our Sales & Stores functions. They will lead a team supporting our long-term strategic initiatives while ensuring monthly forecasts and regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights to improve finance performance.

More specifically the Director Controller will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support long-term strategic planning and annual budgeting processes.
  • Conducting regular financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights to improve finance performance.
  • Leading the annual LRP process working closely with Lennox Residential leadership team to develop detailed budgets aligned with business objectives.
  • Preparing monthly forecasts and variance analysis to assess financial performance against plan and forecast.
  • Performing standard and ad-hoc financial analyses that support external and internal financial reporting planning and forecasting.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards implementing effective internal controls and procedures.
  • Collaborating with shared services accounting centers of excellence to drive financial efficiency initiatives and optimize resource allocation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of Finance experience in progressive Finance roles including financial planning forecasting and analysis.

  • Specific software skills should include advanced Excel Co-Pilot Anthropic (Claude Opus 4.6) SAP Hyperion Essbase Power BI.

EDUCATION

Requires a bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business or a related field. An advanced degree is strongly preferred. Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus. Requires at least 8 years of related experience.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
