Your opportunity
As Manager ICT Capital Works (AO7) you will lead the planning and delivery of complex ICT infrastructure capital works projects across QFD. Reporting to the Executive Manager you will provide strategic oversight manage contracts and budgets and ensure projects deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes aligned to organisational priorities.
You will work closely with business leaders technical specialists and vendors to ensure ICT infrastructure investments are delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard.
What you will do
- Manage and oversee the planning and delivery of complex ICT capital works projects in line with departmental and best-practice project frameworks
- Provide expert evidence-based advice on ICT infrastructure strategy risk benefits realisation and investment options
- Lead budget development forecasting cash flow management and financial monitoring for ICT capital works programs
- Oversee tender evaluation contract management and specialist advisory services
- Program schedule and monitor project delivery including managing scope cost and timeline changes
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support successful project outcomes
- Prepare and quality-assure high-level briefs reports and submissions to support executive decision-making
- Represent QFD in internal and external forums relating to ICT capital works delivery
What you will bring
- Proven experience delivering ICT infrastructure projects in complex service delivery environments
- Strong project contract and financial management capability
- Ability to provide strategic pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of governance risk and assurance in capital works delivery
- Qualifications or experience in ICT project management or ICT contract management (highly desirable)
