Job Summary
We are seeking a Design Manager to join our Façade Engineering team in Adelaide. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving technical excellence business growth and client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of new build and remediation projects.
Youll oversee all aspects of façade engineering from design documentation and compliance through to project delivery while leading and mentoring a small team of engineers. Working closely with the Regional Manager youll contribute to regional strategy strengthen client relationships and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of Inhabit in Australia.
You will also be responsible for:
- Leading and delivering façade engineering projects from concept through to construction ensuring high technical standards and compliance
- Providing technical leadership mentoring and professional development for your team.
- Supporting regional strategic planning financial management and business growth initiatives.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to a high standard.
- Actively participating in industry events networking opportunities and knowledge-sharing forums to enhance Inhabits profile.
- Driving continuous improvement in systems processes and project outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering / Architecture (or related field) with demonstrated experience in the facades industry.
- Proven experience as a design / engineering manager within a consultancy environment.
- Proactive and displays initiative responding effectively to changing needs.
- Strong problem solving and conducts thorough analysis before making decisions.
- Strong organisational skills to manage design administration compliance and documentation within identified project deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
