About the Role

As an Assistant Manager Compliance & Internal Control you will assist the Compliance Department to enhance the overall corporate and governance environment of the Group and in charge of the development implementation and compliance monitoring of the Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing accounting and financial controls in place and make necessary revisions or additions.
  • Perform internal controls review to ensure FPP are understood and followed.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to enhance process and controls efficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating the monthly Compliance Committee Meetings (HQ and Regionals) where compliance issues are being reported to Compliance Committee. Cases include whistleblowing fraud grievance and legal cases.
  • Work with finance teams to ensure all agreed upon Corrective Action Plans (CAP) as identified from the Group Internal Audit (GIA) Reports are implemented.

About You

  • University degree Finance/Accounting Business Management major
  • Professional qualification of HKICPA or ACCA or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience in finance & accounting
  • External audit experience from big 4 or second tier is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge in F&B or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Willingness to learn keen to take on responsibilities
  • Team player and people person
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) and Chinese (spoken Mandarin)
