Job Summary
Role Overview
Our client a multinational manufacturer is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to support APAC commercial compliance and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft review and negotiate sales and procurement contracts and other general commercial contracts.
- Advise on import/export compliance and international trade issues.
- Support on commercial disputes and engage with stakeholders across APAC.
- Provide timely legal advice to the business and affiliates.
- Identify riskmitigation solutions and support governance policy development.
- Monitor external regulatory developments impacting the business.
Requirements
- Qualified in law in Hong Kong PRC or Singapore with 1-3 years inhouse or international law firm experience.
- Strong commercial contracting experience with solid drafting and negotiation skills.
- Detailoriented with strong project management abilities
- Effective communicator across jurisdictions and able to work independently and within global teams.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Experience in international trade compliance is advantageous.
