Job Summary

The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan direct or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering research and development financial systems and product roll-out or any other non-IT based project.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects end to end by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of required activities for Finance stakeholders and their customers.
  • Structure lead and execute complex finance projects and programs collaborating effectively with other cross-functional teams globally.
  • Own define and maintain appropriate project documentation to ensure transparency clarity of objectives and consistent alignment of project deliverables.
  • Proactively manage risk by anticipating potential issues and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to meet timelines budget and objectives; work proactively with the business to resolve critical issues.
  • Ensure underlying processes are fit for purpose by identifying changes needed to support project objectives and leading process mapping documentation and update requirements.
  • Identify change impact incorporate readiness and adoption requirements communications and plans within project plans; oversee change deliverables and where larger change impact exists collaborate closely with designated Change SMEs on best practices and execution of deliverables.
  • Maintain effective communication channels status updates and communication plans.

Qualifications

  • Verbal and written communication skills problem-solving skills attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • PMP PMI PMI-CPM AI Program Management PROSCI or similar qualifications.
  • Understanding of Finance business functions and ability to support the execution strategies of assigned Finance functions.
