What Youll Do:
- Lead a team of clerks across day & night shifts
- Ensure all import/export customs activity is accurate compliant and on time
- Provide technical guidance and oversee customs clearance processes
- Manage performance appraisals rotas and complex people issues
- Collaborate with operations & sales to support growth
- Drive improvements in systems tools and ways of working
- Proven experience managing a customs function
- Strong technical knowledge of customs clearance & compliance
- Confident people manager calm under pressure
- Comfortable in a 24/7 operational environment
- Forward-thinking proactive and commercially aware
