IT Audit Manager Technology Architecture - Financial Services

Role Overview:

Leads IT infrastructure audit and assessment projects focusing on the design implementation and resilience of core banking and financial services infrastructure.

Key Experience & Skills:

8 years in IT infrastructure engineering within banking or financial services.
Deep expertise in data center branch and cloud operations server/storage management virtualization (VMware Hyper-V) and high-availability architectures.
Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX FFIEC MAS TRM) and industry standards (ISO 27001 NIST).
Strong understanding of disaster recovery business continuity and capacity planning in regulated environments.
Proven ability to assess infrastructure risks identify single points of failure and recommend remediation.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation monitoring and ITSM tools (ServiceNow BMC Remedy).
Certifications: ITIL MCSE VMware or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

Lead audits of IT infrastructure (on-premises cloud and hybrid) for compliance resilience and efficiency.
Evaluate infrastructure change management patching backup/restoration BCP/DR and configuration management processes.
Collaborate with IT operations architecture and risk teams to ensure alignment with business and regulatory needs.
Mentor audit team members on infrastructure best practices.
