We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Data Service team. Working in a locally based team you will be responsible for day-to-day requests generated for environmental field and analytical data across Australia and New Zealand. The role will also function as an administrator for our key software platform (primarily ESdat) where you will manage the database which stores all our environmental data and be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
You will be supported by the local Environment Team and Team Leader. You will also have an Australian based technical support network and team leader while being fully integrated in projects with our environmental scientists and engineers in Australia and New Zealand to deliver data services for environmental projects.

Education
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience
- Advanced skills in MS software (knowledge of Excel VBA considered an advantage)
- Basic understanding of database fundamentals
- Basic understanding of environmental sciences and management
- Basic understanding of chemistry and laboratory processes
- Previous experience in using ESDAT ESlog EQUIS or OpenGround Cloud (OGC) software considered an advantage
- Previous experience with SQL and PowerBi considered an advantage
- Interest or experience with GIS or ArcGIS software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Database design and management
- Previous experience working with an online ticketing system
