Volkswagen Ireland is now recruiting a Marketing Executive to support the delivery of impactful integrated marketing activity across the Irish market.
In this role you will play a key part in planning coordinating and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen the Volkswagen brand in Ireland and support sales objectives. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager you will contribute to campaigns across a broad mix of channels including events PR digital social media and dealership support.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading brand at the forefront of electrification and mobility transformation helping bring Volkswagens products values and innovation to life for customers across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns including the coordination of external creative and media agencies.
- Play a key role in coordinating events product launches and experiential activities alongside internal teams and external partners.
- Support the management of brand ambassadors including regular communication contract administration and coordination of vehicle handovers.
- Support PR activities including assistance with press fleet management.
- Support brand compliance across all marketing communications ensuring alignment with Volkswagen brand guidelines legal requirements and CI standards.
- Assist in managing and updating content across digital platforms including website social media channels and email marketing tools.
- Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures product guides promotional assets and point-of-sale material.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting using analytics tools.
- Act as a key point of contact for retailer marketing teams across the Volkswagen Passenger Cars Ireland network.
- Collaborate with dealerships sales teams and external agencies to deliver consistent brand messaging.
The successful applicant will have:
- 13 years experience in a marketing role ideally within automotive or a related industry.
- Creative thinker with excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
- Strong understanding of event marketing principles
- Strong organisational abilities with experience managing multiple projects at once.
- Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficient with marketing platforms and tools (e.g. CMS CRM email marketing analytics).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.
