What you will be doing:
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of sales techniques enjoy asking for business and closing sales with a passion for generating leads and coaching others. Consistently arrange customer meetings and calls
- Provide effective follow-up with deadlines. Manage admin work related to your sales activities. Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients
- Be familiar with Accor sales tools loyalty programme ANAIS meeting planner CVENT etc.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews to evaluate commercial achievement
- Consistently make calls including challenging calls; smartly target the deployment accounts on a weekly basis. Spend minimal time in the office
- Make onsite and field presentations to prospective clients attend trade shows and participate in sales blitzes
- Develop international accounts/segment action plans for short and long term to grow your deployed accounts list
- Explore key source markets especially International and Global accounts in RFP with accurate sales plans including market visits and virtual calls
- Grow the hotels share from international/Regional/Global managed accounts especially MICE and groups with action plans based on the yearly calendar of events
- Maintain strong connections and knowledge of dealing with International/Regional/Global managed accounts
- Develop and implement innovative catering packages and promotions to attract new clients and increase sales
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create unique menu options that cater to diverse client needs and preferences
- Mentor and train junior sales team members to improve overall team performance and achieve sales targets
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and forecasts to senior management
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Five (5) years experience in a Sales position preferably in a global hotel chain
- Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
- Professional communication skills with consumers stakeholders and regional office
- Confident personality with leadership skills with good presentation skills
- English excellent oral and written skills
- Computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales: strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
- Familiar with Accor Tools (Global RFPs Cvent ANAIS etc.)
- Self-motivated personality and a great team player who is supporting the team members and coaching them with previous experience
