Front Desk Agent - Seasons Inn Halifax
Job Description
Seasons Inn Halifax a 38-room motel is seeking anexperienced Front Desk Agent. There are currently 2 positionsavailable. The primary responsibility is checking guests in and out whileproviding efficient reception information and payments.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Guest Check-In and Check Out Efficiently manage the check in/out processes verify guest information and process payments accurately. - Greet all guests in a courteous and efficient manner upon arrival address inquiries and requests promptly and resolve complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Reservations Management Handle all reservations through various channels including phone email and online booking systems. Confirm bookings adjustments; and manage cancellations.
- Administrative Tasks Perform clerical duties such as managing phone calls maintaining guest records and balancing cash and financial reports at the end of each shift.
- Work closely with housekeeping to ensure seamless service delivery and address guest needs.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Shifts are primarily 3 11 pm and 11pm 7 am.
- Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-past environment independently with minimal supervision.
