What Youll Do:

The Part-Time Pathology Laboratory Technician willbe responsible forsupporting thePathology laboratory by following methodologiesand preparing samples.

Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables chemicals and parts for instrumentation.
Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
Other duties as required.

What Youll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this role in San Jose CA is between $15.19 - $28.22 per hour. While we provide this range as general guidance several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including but not limited to candidate skill set experience and training licensure and certifications work location and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
